Rupert has also won and been placed in the top 3 in his first three dressage outings and was successfully shown in hand as a 3 year old. He has always been well behaved at shows and heads always turn when he enters the ring.
Good to hack out alone or in company.
Totally genuine young horse who always tries his hardest – a sort very hard to find.
Heart-breaking sale for his owner as he bought him from the breeder as a 2 year old but doesn’t have the time to do him justice.

Last Apache (Patch) – SOLD 13.01.13

Patch

16.1h Skewbald gelding, rising 5 years. Competed unaffiliated sj, ODE, arena eventing last year. Also did a Lycetts 4 yo BE event coming 3rd. A truly lovely person in and out of stable. Now hunting regularly with my father and preparing for the coming event season, has just been registered BS. We brought this horse from the breeder as an unbroken 3 yo, he was very easy to break and has always been straight forward and snaffle mouthed. Can be ridden by novices but equally a nice ride for a more experienced rider. Bold scopey jump and scored an 8 for his paces at his BE event. Regretful sale due to number of horses in work.

HECTOR – SOLD 26.12.12

Hector

Talented 100% genuine 5 yo, chesnut gelding who has it all. Fantastic temperament, lovely to do anything with, this year he has tried his hand at everything and been perfect in everyway. He hunted all last season with Rosie’s father, Paul, brilliant bold careful jumper, ditches, hedges, rails, would be a top class hunter in any country.
He also started his eventing career with Rosie in March where he was double clear and placed BE90, he has completed his first season with placings at BE90, 100 and a Novice at the end of the season, including qualifying for the Lycetts 5 year old Championship at his first attempt at BE100.
On a number of occasions this year Hector has also been taken on long distance rides by Val, a lady who comes and hacks out any well behaved horses we have at the time. Inbetween going to events Hector was going and being a happy hacker on long distance rides, a truly versatile horse.
Hector is a lovely character who is talented enough for a professional and easy enough for someone less experienced. He is good to hack alone/company, traffic, box, shoe, clip etc. He has smart paces and a scopey careful jump with BS winnings and a BE point.
A horse that could suit any rider and will be very sadly missed, unfortunately something has to go.
